Altitude Diver

$119.00

We are located in Calgary.  We are at Altitude.   Every dive we do in Alberta is at Altitude.

The Altitude specialty course is a must for any Alberta diver if you want to explore the hidden world of our mountain lakes.  Every time you dive at 300 to 3000 metres or 1000 to 10,000 feet above sea level, you are Altitude diving.  The fun part about Altitude diving is that you can explore places many people have never seen.

Whether you use a recreational dive planner or a dive computer you’ll learn how plan and make dives at high altitudes; learn the effects of pressure at higher altitudes and how to adjust your dive plan accordingly; techniques, problems and hazards specific to altitude diving;  special procedures, safety and decompression stops.
