Keep Diving!

You completed your PADI Open Water Certification Course and your 4 Open Water dives this winter. Congratulations on your first steps to a whole new adventure!

Now what? All that hard work and effort need not go to waste! Knowing what to do now can be a bit confusing but always remember, we are here to help you.

Right Now you can Continue your education by signing up for one of the PADI non diving courses like Enriched Air Nitrox, Equipment, or Emergency First Response and Oxygen Provider.

Right Now you can register for our Advanced Open Water Diver Course and start your e-learning portion. Our dive season here in Calgary will be starting soon, as a matter of fact the ice is off at Waterton Lakes and some of our more hardy divers have already been diving there! Most of our local divers dive in a drysuit and most of our students who take the Advanced Open Water Diver Course also sign up for the Drysuit Diver Course at the same time. This way they can complete the entire Advanced course in a drysuit and at the end of the course, they are certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver and Drysuit Diver.

Right Now you can invest in your own scuba equipment. Research completed by PADI has shown that new divers who invest in their own gear dive more often than those who rent and they keep diving!  Investing in your own gear means that you have control over when and where you dive. You get to invest in and wear gear that fits you perfectly and you trust the gear because you know the maintenance schedule and history.

Right Now you can start planning for your next dive holiday. Adventures in Scuba has already secured travel for great Caribbean and worldwide destinations for 2013/2014. We’ve done the work for you! All you have to do is choose from destinations like  our own West Coast, Palau, Cozumel, Puerto Aventuras, Bonaire, Roatan, Guadalupe and Thailand. Space is limited on each trip so call us soon for details!

Right Now call us to signup for our 3 Calgary lake cleanups, Lake Mahogany is the first one on June 8th. Arbour Lake is June 15th and September 28th. Lunch and non-alcholic beverages are provided and Adventures in Scuba will be providing free air cylinders or fills (post dive) and weight (while supplies last and you must pick up the cylinders and weight from our store). You need to pre-register for the cleanups by calling the store.

Right Now you can connect with our local fun divers group, Underwater Outlaws and the Alberta Underwater Council. You can signup for the “Buddy List” with the Outlaws and follow them on Facebook to find out when other divers, just like you, are heading out to dive.
